The Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance has extended the Income Tax (PPh) relief facilities or until December 31, 2021.

Director of Counseling, Services, and Public Relations of the Directorate General of Taxes Neilmaldrin Noor said the provision of facilities regulated in PP 29 of 2020 includes additional net income reductions for domestic taxpayers who produce medical devices and household health equipment.

"This includes donations that can be used as a deduction from gross income up to the imposition of a 0% (zero percent) and final PPh rate for additional income received by health workers," in an official statement in Jakarta on Friday (16/7).

The imposition of a 0% rate also applies to income in the form of compensation for the use of an asset.
