GOTO Increases Capital in Subsidiaries


Jakarta - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) said that several of its business entities were taking out new shares and depositing additional capital.

The details are that PT Spirit Bambu Runcing (SBR) took over 18,400 shares of PT Roda Bangun Selaras (RBS) by issuing new shares by RBS with a value of Rp18.4 billion.

"The purpose of the share acquisition is to increase capital in the subsidiary RBS," GOTO Corporate Secretary RA Koesoemohadiani through information disclosure in Jakarta on Wednesday (6/22).

The relationship between the two controlled subsidiaries is 99% owned by GOTO.

In addition, SBR took as many as 4,000 new shares issued by PT Spirit Empat Lima (SEL). The transaction value for the new share acquisition is around Rp. 40 billion.

The goal is to increase the capital in the SEL subsidiary. SBR and SEL are corporate entities with 99.99% and 99.98% ownership, respectively.
