Gold price on Wednesday (9/6) has the potential to strengthen by moving in the range of US$1,870-US$1,900 per troy ounce.

"Technically, as long as the price stays above the support range of US$1,880 per troy ounce, the price still has the potential to strengthen above the US$1,900 per troy ounce area," said Commodity Observer Ariston Tjendra in Jakarta.

In addition, market participants are still waiting to confirm US inflation data to be released on Thursday evening, namely US consumer price index data for May.

"Results that are below expectations can push gold prices up again, and vice versa," said Ariston.
