The price of gold on Monday (19/4) trading has the opportunity to strengthen to the resistance range of US$1,784 per troy ounce.

"US Treasury yields, which managed to stay below 1.60% last week, could help strengthen gold prices today," said Commodity Observer Ariston Tjendra in Jakarta.

According to Ariston, as long as prices hold above the support level of US$1758 per troy ounce, and if US Treasury yields can hold on to lower levels, these will open up opportunities for strengthening towards US$1800 per troy ounce.
