GMF Implements Sustainable Recovery Strategy


PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMFI) has mapped the focus of strengthening all business lines that impact the company's overall performance to maintain business continuity.

This is because the aviation industry and its supporters are predicted to recover to normal conditions in 2024 entirely.

GMFI President Director I Wayan Susena said the strengthening of the cargo business was a different opportunity for the company to work on the passenger-freighter aircraft maintenance market.

"In 2020 to 2021, we have converted three preighter aircraft belonging to the Garuda Indonesia Group. The company also carries out other business initiatives that have been or will be realized to ensure business continuity, such as business diversification in business segments that are less affected by the pandemic, such as power services, defense industry, and business/private jets," he said in Jakarta on Wednesday (28/7).
