Global Positive Sentiment Supports JCI to Strengthen


Jakarta - Positive sentiment from global supported the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) to strengthen at the opening of trading on Thursday (16/9) by 16.33 points.

"We consider that the current global market tends to strengthen slightly on expectations of economic improvement, while the domestic market has the potential to move attractively amid foreign net buys this week," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

In addition, most commodity prices tend to be in a positive trend, thus encouraging the JCI to strengthen potentially.

At the opening of trading this Thursday, the JCI rose 16.33 points (0.27%) to 6,126.56.

Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 rose 3.79 points (0.44%) to 869.91.
