Global Factors Support Rebound in JCI


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading on Tuesday (14/9) opened up 12.47 points following the positive movement of regional and global markets.

"We expect the Indonesian stock exchange to rebound in line with regional and global markets," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

He explained, this week, there will be the release of Indonesia's trade balance data which is expected to be the sentiment driving the domestic index.

Meanwhile, at the opening of trading on Tuesday, the JCI rose 12.47 points (0.2%) to 6,100.63. Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 climbed 3.55 points (0.41%) to 869.09.

On the Global side, the US market was mixed overnight, with the Dow Jones Index up 0.76%, the S&P 500 closing up 0.23%, while the Nasdaq fell 0.07%.
