Global Factors Put JCI in Pressures


Global negative sentiment and weakening commodity prices triggered a correction in the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on Friday (19/3), trading by 1.82 points.

"The JCI was corrected today due to negative global sentiment and weakening commodity prices," said the research of PT Samuel Sekuritas in Jakarta.

As for trading this Friday, the Jakarta Composite Index opened lower by 1.82 points (0.03%) to 6,346.01 positions.

Meanwhile, the leading stock index (the LQ45) fell 1.14 points (0.12%) to 955.71.
