Garudafood Implement Marketplaces Strategy to Spur Sales


Jakarta - PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) implements an open collaboration strategy with various business-to-business (B2B) marketplaces, both in the form of joint promos, guaranteed supply availability to distribution partnerships supported by the strength of distribution channels to spur sales of the company's products.

Director of Garudafood Paulus Tedjosutikno said the marketplace strategy was to become a new distribution network continuously optimized to reach consumers.

"Garudafood's sales trend from 2018 to date on the B2B marketplace platform has grown nearly 6x. In addition to supporting the growth of the B2B marketplace by providing access to the supply of goods, Garudafood and Tokopedia have also formed a partnership by pioneering the initial operation of Mitra Tokopedia," he said in his statement on Thursday (19/8).
