PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has postponed the Garuda Indonesia Global Sukuk Limited Trust Certificate payment.

In the IDX information disclosure, on Friday (4/6), Garuda Indonesia VP Corporate Secretary Mitra Piranti said, Garuda Indonesia Global Sukuk Limited was valued at US$500 million and matured on June 3, 2020.

"Garuda management has proposed an extension of the global sukuk repayment period, which is submitted for a minimum period of three years and submitted through a consent solicitation proposal to sukuk holders," she said.

Through this request for approval of the Sukuk, management believes that Garuda can strengthen the management of the company's liquidity ratio on a more favorable scale to optimize efforts to improve performance more dynamically.
