Jakarta - PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk approved the proposed policy restructuring of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya and the plan to transfer the insurance policy annuity program management from the company to the Garuda Pension Fund.

"This step is marked by the signing of a collaboration on August 30, 2021 on the management of the old-age/retired-worker funding JS insurance program for Garuda employees and on August 31, 2021 on the management of the JS insurance program for Garuda retirees," said VP Garuda Corporate Secretary, Mitra Piranti through information disclosure on the IDX website on Wednesday (1/9).

The total number of participants is 2,816 people, with a total cash value of Jiwasraya's annuity calculation as of May 1, 2021, of Rp612,066 billion.

Meanwhile, the total number of old-age/retired-worker funding participants as of May 1, 2021, is 4,115 people, with a total redemption value of Rp143,424 billion.
