Jakarta - PT Garda Tujuh Buana Tbk (GTBO) stated that it is trying to sell its coal to Indonesia Independent Power (IPP) following an export ban from January 1-31, 2022.

"The main impact is that we are unable to export, so the existing coal is being sold domestically by offering it to IPP," said GTBO Director Jones Manulang in a statement on Thursday (6/1).

The policy issued by the government is fair for mining businesses in general, which, on the other hand, can help PT PLN (Persero) and IPP meet their coal needs.
