First Session, JCI Weakens 0.19% to 6,117


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), in the first trading session on Wednesday (15/9), weakened 11.84 points (0.19%) to 6,117.26

Two hundred forty-seven stocks were rising, 240 stocks lower, and 158 stocks were unchanged stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 15.09 billion shares with a turnover of Rp6.36 trillion.

Even though the JCI fell, the four sectoral indices were still in the green zone.

The top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) which was up 4.35%. PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) climbed 3.80%, PT PP Tbk (PTPP) gained 2.48%.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP), which fell 2.54%, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) was down 2.05%, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) declined 1.97%.
