The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session today, on Wednesday (28/4), strengthened 0.12% or 7.17 points to 5,966.79.

Two hundred fifty-four stocks rose, 257 shares fell, and 174 stocks were unchanged. Market turnover reached Rp4.6 trillion from 8.64 billion shares traded.

Meanwhile,  the LQ45 top gainers, among others, were PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) 6.88%, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) 4.69%, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) 2.48%.

Meanwhile, the top losers among the blue chips included PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Advisor Tbk (MIKA) -4.46%, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) -2.71%, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) -2.36%.
