First Session, JCI Tad Down 0.06% at 6,123


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), in the first session of trading today on  Tuesday (7/9), weakened 3.49 points or 0.06% to 6,123.

Two hundred fifty stocks were rising, 232 stocks lower, and 151 stocks unchanged. Trading transactions reached Rp5.6 trillion from 13.4 billion shares traded.

The weakening of several sectoral indices dragged the JCI. The index with the deepest weakness was the Technology Sector IDX, which fell 2.43%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Japfa Tbk (JPFA) which was up 3.34%.PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) rose 2.96%. PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) gainned 2.42%.

Meanwhile, the top losers in LQ45 were PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA), which was down 3.72%. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) slid 3.47%, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) decreased 2.17%.
