The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session on Thursday (22/7) rose 77.82 points (1.29%) to 6,107.79.

There were 314 stocks rising, 171 stocks weakening, and 147 stocks stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 15.54 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp. 6.80 trillion.

Of the 11 IDX sectoral indices, only the health sector weakened 0.41%. Meanwhile, the energy sector led the increase by 2.72%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) 6.45%, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) 6.19%, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) 5.63%.

Stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) -2.59%, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) 1.45%, PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) -0.85% .
