First Session, JCI Rises 1.05% to 6,010


The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first session of trading on Wednesday (2/6), rose 62.44 points or 1.05% to 6,009.90.

Three hundred thirty-nine stocks rose, 150 stocks weakened, and 150 stocks stagnated. The total trading volume reached 12.66 billion shares with a total value of Rp9.18 trillion.

Eight sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise. At the same time, the other two sectoral indices slipped into the red zone. The sectoral indices with the biggest gains were IDX Energy which rose 2.39%, IDX Infra rose 1.34%, and IDX Industry rose 1.32%.

Meanwhile, the weaker sectoral indices were IDX Trans, which fell 0.14%, and IDX Health, which fell 0.007%.

The stocks that were included in the LQ45 top gainers category were PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) (7.74%), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) (6.73%), PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) ( 5.95%).
