The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session today, Thursday (15/7), rose 0.80% or 47,691 points to 6,026,906.

Of all traded stocks, 254 were rising, 200 stocks lower, and 164 stocks unchanged. Total market volume of 9.7 billion shares with a turnover of Rp5.1 trillion.

Almost all sectoral indices support the JCI move. The Industrial sector IDX contributed the most to strengthening the JCI 1.46%, followed by the Financial sector IDX 1.35% and the Infrastructure sector IDX 1.32%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) up 5.22% to Rp605, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) up 4.88% to Rp1,290, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk ( MDKA) rose 3.37% to Rp3,070.

Meanwhile, the top losers in LQ45 were PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA), down 1.27% to Rp9,725, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) down 1.22% to Rp810, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) fell 1.11% to Rp1,335.
