First Session, JCI Rises 0.8% to 6,096


The Jakarta Composite Index rose 48.92 points or 0.81% to 6,096.39 in the first session of trading today on Thursday (10/6).

Three hundred stocks were up, 241 stocks down, and 149 stocks unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 14.68 billion shares with a turnover of Rp6.60 trillion.

The JCI movement was supported by the strengthening of the majority of sectoral indices. Meanwhile, the IDX Basic Materials became the sectoral index with the deepest weakness after falling 0.51%, followed by the IDX Transportation, which slightly weakened 0.47%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) up 4.45%, PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) up 4.14%, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) up 4.02 %.

Among the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG), down 5.23%, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) down 3.08%, PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), down 2.57 %.
