First Session, JCI Rises 0.8% to 5,997


The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first session of trading today on Wednesday (30/6), closed up 47.92 points or 0.81% to 5,996.97.

Two hundred forty-nine stocks were up, 236 stocks lower, and 140 stocks unchanged. The total trading volume reached 14.45 billion shares with a total value of Rp6.82 trillion.

Nine sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise. The sectoral indices with the most significant gains were the IDX Finance which rose 1.50%, the IDX Infra rose 0.84%, and the IDX Properti rose 0.84%.

Meanwhile, one sectoral index, the IDX Trans, slipped into the red zone with a 0.25% decline.

Among the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) (7.01%), PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) (6.36%), PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) (5.66%).

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 included PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) (-3.14%), PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) (-2.78%), PT Pakuwon
