First Session, JCI Rises 0.77% to 5,805
The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session, Thursday (20/5) rose 0.77% or 44.64 points to the level of 5,805.22.
Some 232 stocks rose, 218 stocks fell, and 168 stocks were unchanged. The total trading volume reached 7.84 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp5.49 trillion.
Ten sectoral indices support the JCI movement. The highest respectively were IDX Infra 2.94%, IDX Trans 1.56%, and IDX Indust 1.39%.
Meanwhile, among the LQ45 top gainers category, were, PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) rose 7.77% to Rp2,220, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) increased 4.98% to Rp2,530, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) increased 3.80% to Rp3,280.
Meanwhile, the stocks included the LQ45 top losers were, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) which fell 5.53% to Rp2,460, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) declined 2.38% to Rp4,930, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) decreased 2.17% to Rp900.
