Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first session of trading today on Wednesday (18/8), rose 0.57% or 34.48 points to 6,122.39.

There were 206 stocks gaining, 282 stocks weakening, and 143 stocks unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 15.96 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp9.73 trillion.

Meanwhile, the stocks included in the LQ45 top gainers were PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) 6.67%, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) 6.08%, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) 5.82%.

Meanwhile, the stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) -4.72%, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) -3.17%, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) - 3.03%.
