First Session, JCI Rises 0.48% to 6,117


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), in the first trading session today on Tuesday (14/9), rose 29.24 points or 0.48% to 6,117.

Two hundred seventy-nine stocks rose, 201 stocks weakened, and 166 stocks were unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 15.42 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp8.08 trillion.

Nine sectoral indexes supported the increase in the JCI. The energy sector rose 1.76%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers among the LQ45 stocks were PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) which was up 8.49%, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), which gained 4.29%, PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) climbed 3.9%.

Meanwhile, the top losers in LQ45 were PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) -2.38%, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) -2.26%, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) -1.78%.
