First Session, JCI Rises 0.35 Percent to 6,249.58


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of the first trading session today, on Thursday (18/2), rose 21.86 points or 0.35 percent to 6,249.58.

Of all traded stocks, 225 stocks rose, 230 stocks fell, and 158 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 10.77 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp6.56 trillion.

Among top gainers in the LQ45 included PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) that rose 5.84 percent, PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) gained 5.07 percent, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) rose 3.91. percent.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were  PT Mitra Keluarga Employees Tbk (MIKA) which fell 3.88 percent, PT PP Tbk (PTPP) decreased 1.46 percent, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (MIKA) declined 1, 23 percent.
