First Session, JCI Rises 0.31 Percent to 6,289.57
At the end of the first trading session today, Tuesday (16/2), the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) rose 19.25 points or 0.31 percent to 6,289.57.
Of all stocks in the composite, 225 stocks rose, 214 stocks fell, and 179 stocks remained unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 10.72 billion shares with a market turnover of 7.97 trillion.
Among the top gainers in the LQ45 index, were, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) rose 3.23 percent, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) rose 2.65 percent, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) rose 2.45. percent.
Meanwhile, some stocks in the LQ45 were top losers, included PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) dropped 3.48 percent, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) fell 2.38 percent, PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Saran Tbk (MIKA) was down 1.64 percent.
