The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first session of trading today, Tuesday (29/6), rose 17.85 points or 0.30% to 5,957.32.

There were 218 stocks up, 277 stocks down, and 141 stocks stagnant. The total share trading volume reached 10.97 billion shares with a total value of Rp. 6.30 trillion.

Five sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise, while five other sectoral indices slipped into the red zone.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) (4.76%), PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) (4.71%), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) (4.66%)

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) (-5.38%), PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) (-4.87%), PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) (-2.02%).
