First Session, JCI Rises 0.24% to 6,136


The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first session of trading on Friday (30/7), closed up 14.84 points or 0.24% to 6,135.57.

There were 223 stocks rising, 263 stocks lower, and 160 stocks unchanged. The total share trading volume reached 12.99 billion shares with a total value of Rp7.52 trillion.

Five sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise. Meanwhile, five other sectoral indices are in the red zone.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) (5.12%), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) (3.23%), PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) ( 3.03%.

Among the top losers in the LQ45 included PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) (-4.38%), PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) (-2.90%), PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) (-2.81%).
