Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in the first trading session on Thursday (3/31) rose 0.20%, or 14.39 points, to 7,067.58.

At the midday break, 256 stocks were up, 239 stocks were down, and 171 were unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 14.30 billion shares, with a turnover of Rp8.4 trillion.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 index were PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) with a 2.9% rise, PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) with a 2.1% gain, and PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) was up 1.5%.

Meanwhile, stocks that fell into the LQ45 top losers included PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), which declined 2.2%. PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) fell 2.1%, and PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) decreased 1.8%.
