At the end of the first trading session today, Monday (8/2), the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) gained 59.17 points or 0.96 percent to 6,210.90.

Of all traded stocks, 322 shares rose, 155 stocks fell, and 148 stocks were stagnant. The total stock trading volume on the stock exchange until the first session reached 10.80 billion shares with a total value of IDR8.96 trillion.

While the stocks among the top gainers in LQ45, namely, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM), rose 5.53 percent, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) gained 5.37 percent, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) increased 4.73 percent.

Meanwhile, the LQ45 top losers PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) fell 2.57 percent, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) fell 1.78 percent, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) fell 1.75 percent.
