The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose 0.2 points or 0.0% to 6,430 at the end of the first trading session today, on Thursday (21/1).

Among traded stocks, 241 stocks rose, 224 stocks fell, and 144 stocks were stagnant. Trade transactions reached Rp. 11.83 trillion from 12.02 billion shares traded.

Among the top gainers in the LQ45 index, were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) that jumped 10.95%, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) rose 4.59%, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) gained 3.75 %.

Meanwhile, among the top losers in the LQ45 index were PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), which fell 2.87%, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) fell 2.29%, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) fell. 2.04%.
