First Session, JCI Falls 0.83% to 5,971


The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first session of trading on Monday (28/6), was down 50.21 points or 0.83% to 5,971.18.

There were 154 stocks up, 335 stocks down, and 128 stocks unchanged. The total share trading volume reached 10.04 billion shares with a total value of Rp6.27 trillion.

Nine sectoral indexes were compact in red, in line with the weakening of the JCI. The sectoral indexes with the deepest declines were the IDX Industry, which fell 1.69%, the IDX Basic fell 1.67%, and the IDX Property, which fell 1.25%.

Meanwhile, only the IDX Non-Cyclic managed to survive into the green zone, increasing by 0.06%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) (4.87%), PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) (3.88%), PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) (2, 95%).
