First Session, JCI Falls 0.8% to 6,091.8


At the end of the first session trading today, on Wednesday (27/1), the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell 48.37 points or 0.8 percent to 6,091.8.

One hundred eighteen stocks rose, 412 shares fell, and 149 stocks were stagnant. The total transaction value reached IDR 9.03 trillion from 9.75 billion traded shares.

Among the top gainers in the LQ45 were, PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) rose 4.66 percent to Rp1,795, PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) increased 4.49 percent to Rp3,450, PT Tower Bersama Infrastruktur Tbk (TBIG) increased 3.81 percent to Rp2,180

Meanwhile, among the top losers, PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) fell 5.45 percent to Rp2,080, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP) was down 4.75 percent to Rp14,525, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) declined 4.47 percent to Rp5,875.
