First Session, JCI Falls 0.72% to 6,094


The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session on Friday (23/7) fell 43.40 points (0.72%) to 6,094.14.

One hundred eighty-six stocks were rising, 272 stocks weakening, and 159 stocks stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 14.49 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp6.70 trillion.

Eight sectoral indices ended in the red until this afternoon. In contrast, the three sectors were still strengthening.

The top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) 2.89%, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) 2.33%, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) 2.33%.

Among the top losers in the LQ45 included PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) -4.28%, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) -4.27%, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) -4.23%.
