The Jakarta Composite Index, in the first session of trading on Monday (19/7), weakened 0.67% or 40.83 points to 6,031.67.

There were 169 stocks rising, 302 stocks weakening, and 151 stocks stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 12.44 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp5.64 trillion.

Ten sectoral indices dragged down the JCI on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Only the infrastructure sector was still up 0.12% by the end of session one.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) 4.07%, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) 3.29%, PT Paper Factory Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) 3.10 %.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) -6.97%, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) -5.61%, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) 4, 39%.
