First Session, JCI Falls 0.54% to 6,058


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), in the first session of trading today, Friday (4/6), closed down 33.09 points or 0.54% to 6,058.42.

Two hundred one stocks were up, 279 stocks down, and 160 stocks unchanged. The total share trading volume reached 11.52 billion shares with a total turnover of Rp6.37 trillion.

Nine sectoral indexes weakened, in line with the weakening of the JCI. The sectoral indexes with the steepest losses were IDX Basic which fell 1.35%, IDX Trans fell 1.24%, and IDX Infra fell 1%.

Meanwhile, only IDX Techno survived into the green zone with an increase of 12.43%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) (1.06%), PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) (0.96%), PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) (0 ,77%).

Stocks that included the LQ45 top losers, were PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) (-4.41%), PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) (-3.23%), PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) ( -3.17%
