First Session, JCI Falls 0.40 Percent to 6,175.64


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of the first trading session today, on Friday (19/2), fell 24.67 points or 0.40 percent to 6,175.64.

Some 134 stocks rose, 321 shares fell, and 153 shares were stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 9.13 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp6.17 trillion.

The top gainers in the LQ45 included PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF), which was up 6.38 percent, PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) up 4.02 percent, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) up 2.87 percent.

The top losers in the LQ45 were PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA), which fell 2.97 percent, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) fell 2.38 percent, PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) fell 2.29 percent.
