The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session today, on Friday (30/4), fell 0.33% or 19.61 points to 5,993.35.

One hundred ninety-three stocks rose, 257 shares fell, 160 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of transactions reached 10.60 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp4.75 trillion.

Meanwhile, the top gainers among the blue chips were PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) which rose 8.86%, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) increased 4.84%, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) gained 2.92%.

Meanwhile, top losers among the blue chips were, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) which fell 3.05%, PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) declined 2.40%, PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) was down 2.40%.
