First Session, JCI Falls 0.24% to 6,011


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), in the first session of trading today, Thursday (9/9), weakened 0.24% or 14.287 points to a level of 6,011.

There were 171 stocks rising, 319 stocks weakening, and 151 stocks were unchanged. The total volume reached 15.8 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 6.96 trillion.

The sectoral index that contributed significantly to the decline in the JCI was the IDX-Basic, which fell 0.65%. IDX-Transportation was down 0.60%, and IDX Finance was down 0.59%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) which was up 3.41% to Rp1,365. PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) up 3.01% to Rp3,770. PT Jasa Marga ( Persero) Tbk (JSMR) rose 2.81% to Rp4,030.

Meanwhile, stocks among the LQ45 top losers were PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) which was down 4.23% to Rp1,020. PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) down 3.92% to Rp980. PT Indah Kiat Pulp, and Paper Tbk (INKP) fell 2.53% to Rp7,70
