The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session on Thursday (6/5) fell 12.49 points or 0.21% to the level of 5,963.47.

There were 248 stocks weakened, 199 stocks rose, 170 stocks were unchanged. Total share trading volume reached 9.31 billion with a market turnover of Rp4.90 trillion.

During the first trading session, JCI had strengthened into the green zone but returned to the red area.

Despite the decline in the JCI, foreign investors recorded a net buy of Rp76.45 billion in all markets. Meanwhile, in the regular market, foreigners also recorded a net purchase of Rp73.31 billion.
