First Session, JCI Edges up 0.1 Percent at 6,259.98


At the end of the first trading session on Tuesday (23/2), the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) edged up 4.67 points or 0.1 percent at 6,259.98.

Among all traded stocks,  219 stocks rose, 247 shares fell, and 159 stocks were unchanged. Total volume so far was 9.25 billion shares with a turnover of Rp7.1 trillion.

While the stocks among the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) which rose 5.36 percent to Rp3,340, PT Medco Energi International Tbk (MEDC) gained 2.86 percent to Rp720, PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL ) increased by 2.82 percent to Rp. 2,190.

Meanwhile, the LQ45 top losers included PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), fell 4.28 percent to Rp895, PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) fell 2.70 percent to Rp540, PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA ) decreased 2.61 percent to Rp2,990.
