The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of trading in the first session today, on Tuesday (26/1), fell 36.46 points or 0.9% to 6,202.11.

Of all traded stocks, 128 shares rose, 320 stocks fell, and 143 shares were stagnant. The total volume of transactions reached 12.56 billion shares with a  market turnover reached Rp9.33 trillion.

Among the top gainers in LQ45, were: PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) rose 2.07%, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) gained 1.44%, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) was up 1, 32%.

Meanwhile, the top losers included PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), which fell 6.78%, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) down 3.64%, PT PP Tbk (PTPP) slid 3.04%.
