PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) in the first semester of 2021 posted a net income of Rp37.3 trillion, an increase of 12% compared to the same period in the previous year of Rp33.2 trillion.

"Along with the increase in net income, the company's net profit grew 11% to Rp4.5 trillion from the previous IDR 4.1 trillion in 2020," said United Tractors Corporate Secretary Sara Loebis in Jakarta on Friday (30/7).

According to Sara, each business segment such as construction machinery, mining contractors, coal mining, gold mining, and construction industry contributed 25%, 41%, 20%, 12%, and 2% respectively to total consolidated net income.

"The Construction Machinery business segment recorded an increase in sales of Komatsu heavy equipment by 60% to 1,361 units compared to the same period last year of 853 units. The Company's revenue from the sale of spare parts and equipment maintenance services also increased by 8% to Rp3.6 trillion,"
