PT MAP Active Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPA) until the first semester of 2021 posted a net profit for the current period of Rp92.24 billion, an increase compared to the same period the previous year which suffered a loss of Rp80.34 billion.

VP of Investor Relations Corporate Communications and Sustainability MAP Group Ratih D. Gianda said in line with profit, revenue increased 35.11% to Rp2.86 trillion from the same period the previous year of Rp2.12 trillion.

"It has experienced significant growth in the April-June 2021 period, with sales surging more than 25% compared to the first quarter of 2021," in a statement in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/8).

He explained that this growth was supported by an improving digital unified retail strategy in the Indonesian domestic market.

"In addition, sales in the second quarter were also driven by the Idul Fitri momentum last May," he said.
