PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) in the first semester of 2021 posted a net profit of Rp232 billion, up 102% compared to the same period last year of Rp115 billion.

Director of Garudafood Paulus Tedjosutikno said that along with profit, the company achieved a 6.9% increase in sales to Rp4.18 trillion compared to the same period the previous year of Rp3.91 trillion.

"This increase occurred both in the domestic market, which rose 7% and in the export market, which rose 6.1% from the previous year. We are grateful for the achievement that was much better than the previous year. The level of consumer confidence has increased and various stimulus efforts from the government have also been welcomed by the public even though the pandemic is still ongoing," he said in a statement on Friday (6/8).
