PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) posted a profit growth for the year in the first semester of 2021 of around 19.85% to Rp920.06 billion from the same period last year, Rp767.57 billion.

The company's financial report published on Friday (30/7) showed that an increase in total interest income and net profit sharing by around 27.96% to Rp5.58 trillion from Rp4.36 trillion supported the higher profit.

Total other operating income also grew by around 7.85% to Rp1.12 trillion from Rp1.04 trillion.

Until the end of June this year, BTN's total assets reached Rp380.51 trillion with liabilities of Rp338.94 trillion and equity of Rp19.91 trillion.
