PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk until the end of the first semester of 2021 recorded a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity reaching Rp12.44 trillion or growing by around 22.01% compared to the previous period year of Rp10.20 trillion.

The company's financial report published on Friday (6/7) showed the increase in profit for the current period was supported by interest income and net premium income which grew by around 34.14% to Rp46.35 trillion from the same period in 2020 of Rp34.55 trillion.

Operating profit also increased by around 5.17% to Rp16.26 trillion from Rp15.46 trillion.

Until the end of June 2021, the company's total assets reached Rp1,411 trillion with liabilities and equity of Rp1,218 trillion and Rp193,357 trillion, respectively.
