PT Indocement Tbk (INTP) and PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SMCB) recorded a slowdown in revenue growth throughout the first quarter of this year.

Indocement booked the revenue at Rp3.43 trillion or only up 2.26% from the same period last year Rp3.36 trillion. Meanwhile, Solusi Bangun Indonesia's revenue grew by 4.01% to Rp2.56 trillion from Rp2.46 trillion.

The slowdown in growth has resulted in the profit for the current year attributable to Indocement's parent company owners decreasing by 12.26% to Rp351.317 billion during the first three months of this Rp400.43 billion in the same period last year.

Lower operating income and financial income triggered Indocement's low profit, which fell around 66.42% to Rp31.17 billion from Rp92.85 billion and decreased 42.52% to Rp64.08 billion from Rp111.49 billion, respectively.
