First Quarter, Garuda Maintenance Books Revenue of US$62.8 Million

Jakarta - PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMFI) posted operating revenues of US$62.8 million in the first quarter of 2021.

"This value has decreased compared to the same period the previous year, where performance in the first quarter of 2020 has not been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic," said GMF President Director Andi Fahrurrozi in his statement on Friday (27/8).

The recovery in early 2021 has also stalled due to the continued spread of COVID19 cases at home and abroad. Also, because of the re-implementation of various restrictive policies, Andi added.

"This condition also has an impact on the decrease in the number of maintenance events in the company's core business segment," he explained.

Furthermore, to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic, GMF has undertaken several initiatives to preserve and boost income to ensure business continuity in the face of volatile market conditions.
