First Quarter, Fajar Surya Swings to Rp194 Billion Profit from Losses Year Ago


PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FASW) posted performance growth in the first three months of 2021. Based on the financial statements, the company managed to score a profit for the period attributable to the owners of the parent entity, amounting to Rp194.51 billion profit in the first quarter of 2021. It swung from Rp324.5 billion loss in the first quarter of 2020.

The company also recorded revenue of Rp2.63 trillion, up 32.09% compared to the revenue of the first three months of 2020 of Rp1.99 trillion. If detailed, domestic sales still contributed the most, amounting to Rp2.1 trillion, followed by sales to other Asian countries amounting to Rp454.29 billion, down 11.5% compared to sales in the first quarter of 2021.
