PT Betonjaya Manunggal Tbk (BTON) posted an increase in sales performance in the first quarter of 2021.

Based on the company's financial report Tuesday (8/6), BTON managed to record net sales of Rp. 33.08 billion, an increase of 25.71% from the realization of net sales in the first quarter of 2020 of Rp. 26.31 billion.

During the first three months of this year, BTON's net sales were supported by sales from the iron-concrete segment worth Rp17.81 billion, followed by the waste plate segment at Rp11.43 billion, as well as the missroll segment and others worth Rp3.83 billion.

All three recorded an increase of 14.90%, 22.07%, and 165.42% from the notch in the same period the previous year.

The increase in sales pushed BTON's cost of goods sold by 18.19% to Rp26.02 billion in the first quarter of 2021. Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2020, the cost of goods sold only reached Rp24.05 billion.
